One tool, made properly

We sell one tool. That's not a positioning exercise, it's the whole company: a cordless brush that takes carbon off a grill grate, sold as one package with everything it needs already in the box.

The product category we came from is a mess. Grill brushes are sold as a nine-euro impulse buy, designed to last one season and quietly become a safety problem in year two. The bristle-in-the-food stories that scare people are almost always about a brush somebody should have thrown out months earlier, and had no reason to.

So we made the head come off, put the wrench that releases it in the box, and wrote the retirement rule on the care card instead of burying it on a support page. If you can take the wire out and look at it, you can decide for yourself whether it is still safe to use. A brush with the bristles moulded in permanently gives you no way to make that call.

We don't own a factory. The brush is built and shipped by a manufacturing partner in Guangdong, which is why it takes a week or two to reach you and why it costs €67 rather than €110. That is on the shipping page in full, because finding it out after you've paid is how stores in this category earn their reputation. We answer our own email and don't run a wholesale channel. If something we've written here turns out to be wrong, tell us and we'll change it.

What we will not do: claim it works on a hot grill, imply wire brushes carry no risk, or pretend a motor will remove four years of carbon in one pass. Those three lies are how this category earned its reputation.
